ShihYau Grace Huang, MD
Vascular Surgeon
After obtaining her medical degree from the USC Keck School of Medicine, Dr. Huang remained at the LAC - USC Medical Center for her general surgery training, during which time she also completed a masters of science degree in Medical Device and Diagnostic Engineering from USC. She then journeyed to Albany Medical Center in New York for her vascular surgery fellowship. Following this, she joined the faculty at Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as Assistant Professor of Surgery under the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy. She is double board certified in general and vascular surgery.
Dr. Huang has now returned to Los Angeles to serve the community that she grew up in. She aims to utilize both traditional open surgery, innovative endovascular therapy, and hybrid techniques to achieve the best long term outcome for patients. Her clinical interests include aortic disease, carotid disease, venous disease, dialysis access, endovascular treatment of uterine fibroids, and peripheral arterial disease - with expertise in limb preservation.
Outside of work, Dr. Huang enjoys nature, traveling, and creative endeavors such reading, writing, and visual arts. She had previously produced hand drawn medical illustrations now in print, and she intends to further establish digital works for professional use and artistic merit.
